Conservative goes contemporary
The Caribbean 420 Express features a more contemporary style than previous models and presents as a very versatile and stylish luxury 40 footer.
The hull is the same as the Caribbean 40 but the 420 Express has a new roofline – low profile –to give a lean long look which enhances the luxury appearance.
Somewhat of a change from the traditional Caribbean flybridge look which is so well known.
Contemporary Style
The Caribbean 420 Express has a single level layout with generous cockpit space to enhance socialising and entertaining.
Connecting inside to out is both a sliding door from cockpit to saloon and a new opening window which is a great feature for better communicating and mingling while entertaining.
The decking on both the cockpit and platform is genuine teak and provides comfortable, soft foot-feel. Still outside and versatile moulded tank against the transom suffices as either live bait storage or as a cooler for drinks for a crowd. A large capacity fridge freezer is also conveniently located in the cockpit and would be ideal for extended stays aboard.
There is plenty of storage in the cockpit under the cushions on the day lounge and along the sides.
Inside the saloon, the extremely well-sized windows create a spacious feel, let in light and take in the views. The u-shaped dinette is stylish, comfortable and optimises space, while the u-shaped galley with elegant stone look bench top allows interaction without interruption between guests and chef.
At the helm station, an impressive chair allows skipper to comfortably command the twin 500 hp Cummins QSC diesel engines.
The interior style is impressively modern with a contemporary décor in fabrics, colour scheme and materials and stylish accentuated points such as the black anodised window frames.
The 420 Express has sleeping facilities for 6-7 and downstairs are twin cabins and a bathroom.

The bathroom is impressively large for a 40 with a full sized shower recess, power points for appliances and designer towel rack.
The Caribbean 420 Express is ideal for long trips or to entertain a crowd with a wide platform to board with a stainless steel rail, sturdy swim ladder and plenty of space for relaxing and to add some additional deck chairs.
