Stabicraft has extended its impressive range of hardtop sports fishing Supercabs with the Stabicraft 2400 Supercab. At 7.3m, the 2400 fits between the smaller 2100 and the much larger 2600, at 3 feet longer than the 2100 and offering more comfort and space for both overnighting and bluewater fishing adventures without the cumbersome features and price of the much larger 2600.
The 300 L fuel tank means you can embark on longer journeys to reach better fishing destinations and the layout of the 2400 provides more workable fishing and working space.
Key Features
The Stabicraft 2400 Supercab is an enclosed cabin, hardtop craft, with workmanlike looks and features which are purpose designed for serious fishing.
The 2400 features the company’s Game Chaser Transom design and Arrow pontoon hull shape, for stability and great performance.
Serious anglers will especially appreciate the cockpit design of the 2400, as it has been purpose-designed for catching fish! A functional fit-out with efficient transom layout, rear seats that can be positioned out of the way to create more space to move around, elevated bait tank and station for comfort and a generous 2.5 m of space from helm seats to the corners of the transom to allow for the addition of extra seats or working areas.
Eight rod holders and cockpit-length side pockets for storage will be greatly appreciated as will the comfortable bucket helm chairs.
The open plan layout of the interior creates a spacious feel with the option of fitting bi-fold glass doors as an extra to create better privacy. A toilet is also optional extra also.
Large windows allow for great visibility and ventilation.
A Maxwell HRC-8 Capstan anchor winch is standard as are the infill cushions in the internal berths.
The 2400 is powered by a single Yamaha 225hp four-stroke outboard and the skipper is presented with a functional dashboard at the helm and smooth, hydraulic steering and the latest electronics.
Overall, an extremely impressive trailer boat for fishing offshore, which is easily towed behind larger 4WD vehicles.
