Southern Formula has only been producing boats for a few years but they are Australian made and truly built for the fishing market. The current Southern Formula models include the 2100, 2300, 2500 and the 2500E. The design is focussed on creating a stable boat which performs in the conditions that most commonly face blue water fishers – rough water conditions but when proceeding at a modest speed. The team at Southern Formula identified that when you’re fishing you’re not always going flat out! You want a boat that is stable even at moderate speeds.

Southern Formula 2100
The 2100 is 6.4m long with a 2.4m beam and capacity for 5 people. It is built for offshore adventures with a 125L fuel tank a standard inclusion. There’s plenty of storage on deck, underfloor and in the cabin with two live bait tanks, large shelves in the cabin and still room for two full length berths.
The 2020 model is packaged with the 225 hp Mercury outboard and has an ergonomically designed dash, deluxe captain seats, underfloor foam flotation, self-draining anchor well and a huge list of other standard inclusions. Standard inclusions which make the 2100 a standout!

Southern Formula 2300
The 2300 is 7m with a 2.5m beam, capacity for 5 and the look is instantly eye-catching. You can immediately tell that this boat is designed for fishing, not racing or to a one-size-fits-all formula. The 2300 has a larger fuel tank than the 2100 at 380L to get you to those fishing spots way offshore and back.
The dashboard area has been called ‘best in class’ and the deck hardware is heavy duty to handle a tough day on the water. But you’ll do it in style and comfort with deluxe captain seats and a sports steering wheel.
The 2020 model is packaged with the larger 250 HP Mercury outboard and with more power and more fuel capacity, the 2300 is ready to take you to your favourite locations.

Southern Formula 2500
The 2500 steps it up again to 7.5m with a 2.5m beam with capacity for 5 and the long range fuel tank with a 380L capacity. There is a massive 440 litres of underfloor storage and full length bunks. Plenty of built-in spaces for your rods and other gear, live bait tanks, and a very stylish and spacious deck areas.
There are a number of options in packages available including hull only, boat, trailer and motor and choice of single 300HP or twin 200HP outboards.
Also take a look at the Southern Formula 2500E has a variation on the 2500 in a stylish black hull and grey toned interior.
