Built-in Germany, the Hanse 455 features a Judel/Vrolijk designed hull with carbon reinforcement and the low-profile topside silhouette for which Hanse are known. The standard design comes ready to sail and can be optioned with various accessories and customised at the factory build stage if desired. One of the key standouts is the large and extremely well-equipped cockpit on the Hanse 455.
Ease of Sailboat finance
One of the standout features of the design is the ease of sailing, with the comfortable short-handed operation. Setting the sails, hauling them in, operating the Lewmar 50 Evo winches – all can be handled from the twin helm positions. All sailing lines, halyards and sheets run back directly to the helm with an efficient sail plan.
Single touch anchor drop and folding mast step further enhance the ease of sailing.
Comfort and Style
The Hanse 455 has a sleek deckline and the space on deck can be easily converted to comfortable lounging thanks to the flat design feature and when ready for a swim, the standard equipment platform allows ease of getting into the water.
Below deck, there are several layout options available to create either 3 or 4 cabins. There are a number of selections in regard to finishes to customise to suit your decor style. One option includes a larger owner’s cabin with an island bed, wardrobes and drawers. Large opening skylights allow for welcomed ventilation as well as natural light.
The saloon is designed more for comfortable cruising with a spacious U-shaped lounge area, well-equipped L-shaped galley. The galley includes two sinks, overhead cupboards and a three burner stove. There is also an optional hotplate on deck, behind the helm, and space to install a BBQ.
The extra-large windows in the saloon allow for light and views and the Hanse 455 has more opening hatches than previous models.
Overall, the interior is light, airy and gives the feeling of spacious elegance. Ideal for the cruising lifestyle.
The hull is a foam-cored construction with gel coat and vinyl ester laminate and the bulkhead reinforced with carbon composite.
Ballast to displacement is 30.2% and sail area to displacement ratio 20.4%
The engine can be accessed easily for servicing.
