After feeling the initial effects of the coronavirus, the boating sales market appears to be recovering as people choose boating as their preferred holiday and recreational pursuit. The cancellation of the major boat shows has clearly been a major disappointment to many manufacturers who rely on these events to release new models and capture a large audience in the one location.
But according to media reports, the industry is starting to bounce back and we know that our boat loan customers love their boats and will be keen to upgrade when they can – or when they want!
With no major boat shows on the calendar, we continue with our virtual boat show – mentioning some of the new model releases that you would have had the chance to see at the shows.
Haines Signature 640F
Haines is a much-respected name in boating and the Queensland-based boat manufacturer has released another exciting addition to their fibreglass range – the 640F. This boat is designed for the fishers and general boaters that want to head to the open water for their adventures.
The family-friendly fishing and leisure boat is the successor to the 602F and includes new features and upgrades. These include several options which allows buyers to customise their 640F to specifically suit their requirements. Such as the option for the fully-enclosed hardtop which has a roof hatch and lockable cabin door for added security. A great space for gear and for the family to relax (or nap for the younger ones) out of the elements on the way home from a big day of fishing.
The 640F is 6.6m long and has a capacity for 8 people. It has a 25% increase in fuel capacity to 226L so you can extend those days and/or your range even further. The dash layout is improved and the standard package includes more of the much sought-after features.

Jeanneau Cruisers
According to the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show, the Jeanneau Cruisers were to be showcased by Northside Marine at the 2020 show. With the show cancelled, Northside has produced a great Virtual Boat Show function on their website.
Jeanneau is very well known in Australia for the sailing cruisers and yachts. Northside Marine has now added the Jeanneau Cruiser range to their offerings. This range includes the NC collection of family-friendly power boats in the 9m to 14m length and the Leader collection which is the high-performance sporty editions.
