Sanctuary Cove Boat Festival Reveals
With the major 2020 boat shows cancelled due to COVID-19, the Sanctuary Cove Boat Festival in November was destined to be a big drawcard for both exhibitors and the public. The exhibitors did not disappoint with the big names like Riviera, Maritimo and Whitehaven revealing a number of exciting new models. Some we have showcased in articles over the past few months.
While international travellers are having trouble getting into Australia, it was no trouble for Festival goers to see some new boat releases from overseas. These included the Lagoon Seventy 8 from the Multihull Group. Lagoon is part of Beneteau. This vessel is a long range, blue water cruising catamaran and definitely worth a wish list entry if global or interstate cruising is on your bucket list.
A much smaller catamaran debuting at the show was the Aquila 36 Cruiser. This latest model has an enclosed saloon with air con.
